Do cars run in Venice? And streets?
No, cars don’t exist in Venice. There are roads and you will walk them (no, you will not swim around!).
How long does it take from Marco Polo airport to Piazzale Roma?
If there’s no traffic, it takes about a quarter of an hour from Marco Polo Airport to Venice.
And how long does it take from Treviso Airport to Venice?
About 45 minutes.
Is there public transportation to get around the city?
Yes of course, there are ACTV boats (pub transport).
How much does a public transport ticket cost?
For non-residents of Venice, the public transport ticket costs €9.50.
Why would we need an assistant even for a transfer?
Because the arrival address often doesn’t take into account the fact that there isn’t direct access
from the water (water taxi or public boat stop) to your hotel,
apartment, or arrival point. The assistant will accompany you safely, as well as being able to arrange
your arrival in advance with the person performing the check-in.
Our assistants are all fully licensed.
What are the sestieri?
The sestieri are the neighborhoods of Venice, of which there are 6 in total.
How do house numbers work in Venice?
They don’t work, so don’t rely on them.

Is there a train station in Venice? Where is it located?
Of course, the train station in Venice exists and is called Santa Lucia. It is located a stone’s throw from Piazzale Roma.
Can you swim in the canal?
Absolutely not.
Are there public bathrooms in Venice?
Absolutely. Public restrooms are located in the busiest areas, such as Piazzale Roma, Rialto, and San Marco. Coins needed.
